Lego Day 2009: Success!

LD09 was awesome.

Moosebot And I were interviewed by the local news station:

I coined the technical term "Lego Stuff." Remember that, folks!

At one point, we had over 67 people in the room:

We were pretty pleased.

We held a Speed Build, where builders could race againt the clock in a challenge to build Squidman Escape the fastest. 18 people participated, and Isaac T. won with a time of 1:35:

We gave out prizes for the three best models in each category. "Dioramas," Vehicles," and "Other." :

Overall, it was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed it immmensely. We had a turnout of 65 more people than I expected (during flu season, no less!) and 30 creations, not counting ours.
